2017 MEETING

The 2017 Digital Commons + Great Lakes User Group Meeting was hosted by Cleveland State University Michael Schwartz Library on Friday, July 28.

No Registration fee!

Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided. Lodging, lunch, and parking fees are at your expense.

Location

The 2017 DC+GLUG meeting will be held in the CSU Student Center Ballroom, 3rd floor. 2121 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115 (corner of Euclid Avenue and East 21st Street).

Visit The Wyndham or call Erin Hotler at 216.615.3322 for special group rates & registration. A block of rooms will be available for reservations from July 27, 2017 - July 29, 2017 for a rate of $115 per night (for those who want to extend their stay in Cleveland). The Wyndham is less than ½ mile from CSU. Attendees can walk or ride the free E-Line Trolley to the DC+GLUG meeting.

For accommodations closer to Cleveland State University, the Comfort Inn Downtown at 1800 Euclid is another option (special rates are not available for DC+GLUG meeting attendees).

Travel and transportation

CSU is located in downtown Cleveland and can be easily accessed from several major highways. Download driving directions to CSU and a campus map . See below for parking information.

If you're flying, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is only 20 minutes from downtown. From the airport, you can take a taxi to your destination or hop on the Red Line train to Tower City in Public Square (0.8 miles from the University). From Public Square, ride the free E-Line Trolley to CSU or take a 17-minute stroll up Euclid Avenue.

Parking

Parking is available in the Central Garage (CG) Parking lot, located at 1900 East 21st Street, Cleveland. When entering the lot, pull the ticket and park in any of the visitor parking spaces. You will need your ticket to exit the garage and you may pay with credit card or cash as you exit. Maximum fee is $10. Alternate parking is at the West Garage (WG), located at Chester Ave. and 17th Street. Map of CSU
