The word “paper” is derived from the word for “papyrus”, a plant that Egyptians made paper from over 5,000 years ago. Paper can be made from just about anything. Paper became the medium to record spiritual texts, incantations, folktales, songs, documenting history, record keeping, and creating works of art.
