Description

Every pilot must keep a record of her/his trips in an aircraft. Distance and duration of flight, passengers, date, type of aircraft and registration number, location flown from and to and special remarks.

In addition, the aircraft, its propeller and engine also have to have logbooks to keep a permanent record of the time they were in use and what maintenance procedures were performed..

Pilots are known to tell "Hangar Stories" about their flights. The logbooks hold the truth.
