The Rowfant Club is a 123 year old Bibliophilic society of Cleveland. The love of books in all their capacities to please us - intellectually, artistically, and as collectibles - is our raison de etre. Accordingly, we have a library filled with a variety of volumes. Some are notable for their rarity or age, others for their content, or beauty, and still others for their connection to the club's hertiage. Our Librarian, David Novak, will give a tour for all bibliophiles touching on many of the highlights of our collection. He will regale us with tales both great and small on the origins and meaning behind some of our most fascinating books.
"Light Seeking Light Doth Light of Light Beguile". This is our Shakespearean motto. Let all who seek the enlightenment that books provide join us, so that we can share in our love of the book.

The wood-engraving by the artist John DePol shows the front of the Club House at 3028 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland Ohio. While there is no sign to designate the house as the home of The Rowfant Club, this image may help to identify the building on the South-East corner of the intersection of Prospect Avenue and East 30th. The gate to our parking lot will be open to visitors at the East 30th Street entrance.
