Altered Octavos Exhibit
Call to Artists: Entries can be as simple as a drawing or text on a page or as complex as a sculpture, but it must be an original piece of art, using or derived from books.
The contest is open to all artists. Set-up will take place Tuesday, September 30, with an Opening Reception on Wednesday, October 1, 6-9pm. Artwork must be identified by artist, title, and price (all entries must be for sale with a 20% commission to Loganberry Books).
There will be several awards given: Best of Show by a panel of adjudicated judges ($500), People's Choice Award decided by the general audience (prize TBA), and several Honorable Mentions (Loganberry Books gift certificates). Voting will take place throughout the month, with Awards announced during the closing of the show.
