Comments

Sgt. Hubach received a complaint from Stephen Sheppard who stated that a person being held for extradition to Florida had confessed to killing Marilyn Sheppard. This person admitted to entering a strange home and climbing into bed with a man and his wife. The husband woke up and believed the man to be assaulting the wife; a fight ensued in which this person "got the better" of the husband. He stole a car and fled. Dr. Sheppard stated that this person admitted to being in Cleveland on July 4 and to waking up on July 5 feeling as though he had been in a fight.
