Abstract

James Gorman was interviewed by police after his estranged wife, Dorothy, called police and stated that she was afraid he had murdered Marilyn Sheppard. Gorman's wife had been under Dr. Sheppard's care for a concussion and was an employee of Bay View Hospital. He stated that Dr. Sheppard had accused him of beating his wife, but that he did not threaten Dr. Sheppard and did not murder Marilyn Sheppard. He stated that on July 3 he and his daughter were visiting his brother in Springfield, Ohio. He returned to North Olmsted around 8:30pm on July 5.
