Deeds, Not Words: Celebrating a Century of Women Voting

2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. This exhibit highlights images of early suffragists, women working at the polls, women voting, people promoting the cause, and more. They were taken from Cleveland Memory, the freely searchable digital collection of Cleveland and northeast Ohio. It contains items from the Michael Schwartz Library's Special Collections.
