Assistant County Prosecutor, John J. Mahon, backs a measure that would allow Cleveland police to have authority in suburban crime cases. The plan is up for consideration by the city board of control. Mahon feels that Cleveland police should be "relied on in serious felony cases", noting that is a matter of routine for them to question all suspects, or bring them into custody, within a few hours of the crime.
