Description
Dr. Paul L. Kirk, a scientist on the staff of the University of California Berkeley, is retained by Sheppard's defense counsel, William J. Corrigan. Kirk said he will use his own methods to try and turn up enough new evidence to convince the appeals court that a new trial is justified.
