Description

Art Books Cleveland (ABC) is dedicated to exploring, encouraging, and teaching both contemporary and traditional artistic practices of the hand-made book. Its membership is open to both experienced and beginner, providing opportunities to exhibit and promote their work, while sharing their individual skills with each other through member workshops. One of the original founders of Octavofest, this organization is devoted to advancing the appreciation of bookmaking and the paper arts.

This 5th Annual Abecedarium Exhibition of handmade books explores the alphabet, or an aspect of the alphabet in beautiful, clever, and sometimes whimsical perspectives of book forms.

The group will also host the first juried retrospective of their handmade art books.
