Description
The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation will present three special displays in the CSU Library during Octavofest. The displays will present hand papermaking, letterpress, and bookmaking through a collection of objects and ephemera relating to each discipline.
Viewers will find traditional wood and lead movable type as they relate to the letterpress-printed page, hand-crafted papermaking moulds and bookbinders tools as well as a variety of handmade papers and uniquely-bound books. The Morgan Conservatory is a Cleveland non-profit art center dedicated to the preservation of hand papermaking and the art of the book.
