Description
On this fast-paced tour through several galleries at the Cleveland Museum of Art, we will look at book-like objects, depictions of books, the works of artists who make books, and even some objects whose relationship to the book and paper arts might surprise you. From an Egyptian Book of the Dead to illuminated manuscripts to paintings based on pages snipped out of encyclopedias, the museum is a treasury of the book and paper arts and a perfect place to celebrate Octavofest! Laura Martin, docent at the CMA will lead this tour. Space is limited.
