*An Octavofest Special Event: Reimagining the Book: Chris Ware's Building Stories In honor of Octavofest, Comics Scholar and Guest Reader, Valentino Zullo, asks the question: In the age of digital storytelling can "the book" survive? How are comics responding to these new ways of telling stories? We will discuss a comic that challenges how we imagine the book and paper arts: Chris Ware's Building Stories.

Wednesday, October 22 * 12:00 p.m. Main Library, 2nd floor Literature, North West corner Collaboration with guest speaker and reader, Valentino Zullo, MA in English and Women’s Studies, with a specialty in Comics as Literature. Currently a student at the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at CWRU. Sponsored by Ohio Center for the Book @ Cleveland Public Library.
