Abstract
In Ohio Supreme Court Case No. 34616, Sheppard appealed the Eighth District Court of Appeals decision in Case No. 23551. In that case, Sam Sheppard asserted that he should be granted a new trial based on the forensic investigation of Dr. Paul Kirk yielding newly discovered evidence. The Ohio Supreme Court dismissed this case, finding no debatable constitutional question was involved.
