Abstract
Every human has a pair of guardians; one angel and one demon. When the human dies, the angel and demon decide where the human will end up. Sadie, an angel, and Addison, a demon, are case partners, and their current assignment is Marley Gallagher. Sadie has to grapple with what it means to be a mortal and what it means to be an angel when Marley falls in love.
