Downstairs den/study showing pulled-out desk drawers and scattered contents; when investigators arrived on scene, the empty drawer in the background was on top of the drawer in the left foreground and was knocked over by one of Sam Sheppard's brothers and placed in this position before the photo was taken; articles on the floor between the two drawers were spilled when the drawer was upset; broken trophy in right foreground was said to have been sitting on the shelf (barely visible) at the extreme right edge of the photo; camera facing south
