Abstract
The Eighth District Court of Appeals denied Sam Sheppard's motion to certify a conflict to the Ohio Supreme Court. Sheppard asserted that the decision of the Court of Appeals in State v. Sheppard 97 Ohio App. 489 (1955), refusing bail pending appeal, was in conflict with two other Court of Appeals decisions: one from the Court of Appeals for Belmont County and one from the Court of Appeals for Mahoning County.
