Abstract

Robertson reports that many Ohio communities hope to exercise some control over the shale oil and gas activities that will take place within their jurisdictions. Munroe Falls, in particular, would prohibit drilling in residentially zoned space and impose some other local requirements. She discusses how the Ohio Supreme Court might rule on such shale drilling issues.
