Description

Samuel H. Sheppard received several visitors in jail after he entered his plea of "not guilty" at the morning arraignment. Among the visitors was his father, Dr. Richard A. Sheppard, who brought him carrots and fruit. Just a day earlier, there was a report from an unidentified police source that Dr. Sam seriously talked about committing suicide.
