Description

Article describes the sequence of events that happened at County jail before and after the news broke of the sudden death of Dr. Sam Sheppard's mother, Ethel Sheppard. Reporters and photographers had suddenly arrived after they had heard the news. The jail visitors waited until Dr. Sam's brother, Dr. Stephen A Sheppard, arrived, whom later broke the tragic news to his brother. Sam Sheppard's reaction is reported on as well.
