Welcome to OpenCon 2018 Cleveland!
March 5 - March 9, 2018
In honor of Open Education Week and in collaboration with universities across Ohio, Cleveland State University will be facilitating its first OpenCon Cleveland event the first week of March, 2018. The focus of the event will be the potential and value of open pedagogy efforts in higher education and other educational institutions. The facilitators of this event hope to increase awareness of and enthusiasm for open in the larger Ohio community and to begin establishing a network of open education advocates in the region.

The day-long kick-off event will be on Monday, March 5th at Cleveland State University, in the C|M College of Law Moot Courtroom. Librarians, library staff, instructional designers, and faculty are all welcome to attend this free event! Call for Lightning Round Proposal: Please submit your proposal for a lightning round presentation at our March 5 event via the Google Submission Form. All submissions are due by February 20th (DEADLINE EXTENDED). Decisions about accepted submissions will be communicated by February 26th.

OpenCon 2018 Cleveland is FREE but please register by March 1 via the EventBrite registration form.
Morning refreshments will be provided. Parking fees, lunch, and lodging are at your expense.
