Program Description

Librarians have been a crucial part of any OER initiative. They provide more than just support and serve as an essential partner and collaborator across different stakeholders within their institution and beyond. We will look into librarians’ role as connectors between students and educators. By engaging with students as advocates and champions of OER and encouraging educators to move beyond resources to open educational practices, we can begin to examine how we can leverage our expertise and campus connections towards a more sustainable approach beyond affordability and access.
