Description
Cheryl Thompson is a genetic epidemiologist. She studies how genes and lifestyle or behavioral factors work together to increase the risk of cancer, or predict outcomes from cancer. She is also interested in biomarkers, or markers in the body, that can be used to detect or diagnose cancer, or to predict outcomes from treatment. Dr. Thompson is currently the Director of Master's Programs at the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
