Abstract
This oral history interview with Dorothy Winovich, conducted on October 15, 2003, explores her experiences growing up in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, particularly during the 1940s and 1950s. Winovich reflects on the close-knit community, the strong cultural and educational influence of Lincoln High School, and the neighborhood’s deep ties to local churches and the steel industry.
