Abstract
Florence Spurney, a transplant to Cleveland, describes what it was like moving to Cleveland for nursing school. She recounts some of the difficult cases she saw as a nurse. She continues by saying that her husband was a doctor, and she followed him around the country while he completed his degree and commitments to the military. Once they moved back to Cleveland, they stayed for good. She describes some of the activities that she got her kids involved in, as well as those that her and her husband enjoyed. She also mentions the fight to keep the freeways out of the Shaker Lakes. She concludes by describing her time at Judson Park.
