Abstract
Gilbert Frey grew up on Cleveland's east side in Collinwood and Euclid. Immediately out of high school, he joined Lincoln Electric as a factory worker and climbed the company's rank to Director of the Personnel Department. Gil relates his experiences and loyalties with Lincoln over 43 years of service. Lincoln Electric is noted as a unique business model utilizing employee incentive programs to reward productivity via shared profits. Gil's experience testify to the model's success.
