Abstract

This interview was conducted as part of Cleveland State University's 50th Anniversary Commemoration effort. Bill Napier is currently the Secretary to the Board of Trustees at CSU. Napier is a native of Cleveland, Tennessee. Napier came to Ohio initially as a graduate student at Ohio State University and was hired on as President Harold Enarson's Executive Assistant while pursuing his degree. Bill worked for the Board of Regents for a number of years before he was approached by CSU president, Micheal Schwartz, about coming to Cleveland to work in government relations for the university.
