Abstract

Ternary liquid-liquid equilibrium data for the systems sulfolane-toluene-pentane and sulfolane-benzene-pentane were obtained at 17, 25, and 50 °C. Experimental tie line data were measured by gas chromtographic analyses and correlated with the nonrandom two liquid (NRTL) and universal quasi-chemical (UNIQUAC) equations. © 1989, American Chemical Society.
