Abstract
An oscillation controller is implemented using analog circuits on a vibrational MEMS gyroscope. The control goal is to drive the gyroscope to resonance despite the presences of disturbance and system uncertainties. Both discrete components and Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA) are used to construct the circuit. The two implementation approaches are equally applicable, simple to build, easy to tune and economical. The experimental results not only verify the effectiveness of the controller but also demonstrate the successfulness of the analog implementation.
