Abstract
To be certain new lawyers are ready to represent us, the public needs assurance that they have the skills to practice law and understand the rules of ethics and professionalism. To do that--and keep applicants safe from COVID-19--the Ohio Supreme Court should replace July’s Ohio bar exam with a remotely administered exam focused on practice readiness and ethics/professionalism.
