Abstract

What is the secret sauce to a city’s, region’s or state’s economic success? Surprisingly, the answer is remarkably clear. Among most economists, it’s not in dispute. The clear answer is the link between educational attainment, talent, and workforce development. At CEOs for Cities, the national organization I led for six years, we called it the Talent Dividend.
