The Women, a historical fiction novel by Kristin Hannah, tells the story of a young nurse who serves in the United States Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam War. At once an intimate portrait of coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided.
Vida Lock, who served as Dean of Nursing at Cleveland State University, will lead the discussion in celebration of National Women’s History month.
This is a free event to the Friends of the Library, campus community, CSU Alumni and the general public. Refreshments will be served.
Registration is recommended to receive the Zoom link and a count for refreshments if attending in-person.
