Claiming inaccurate reports by "various newspapers", Bay Village Kiwanis Club (via club president, Richard D. Hardy), presents a "resolution" of support to Mayor Spencer Houk on 8/2/1954. Written from the point of view of the Kiwanis Club It states, among other things, "we have felt compelled to write this letter because of rampant rumors and criticism which we feel are unjustified."
