Description
Prosecutors completed their presentation of evidence before the Grand Jury today, and numerous witnesses were called to the stand. A highlight of today's proceedings was the testimony of Miss Susan Hayes, of Los Angeles, who described her affair with Sam Sheppard. Assistant prosecutor, John J. Mahon, expressed that her relationship with Sheppard was an important factor, and alluded that it could possibly have been a motive behind the heinous murder.
