County prosecutor, Frank T. Cullitan, criticized the Sheppard family and their legal aides for their suggestions that Sam Sheppard had been mistreated by him and his staff. Cullitan states, "A reading of the record shows that the complaints that have been made about his treatment before and after his arrest are entirely baseless".
