Description
A California biochemist, Dr. Paul C. Kirk, acting as a "crime expert" for the defense, was the only witness on a new trial before Common Pleas Judge, Edward Blythin. Kirk charged that the case against Sheppard was, "superficial, incomplete, and erroneous in interpretation."
