Role of Institutional Repositories in Open Access Movement
Author Biography
I am currently the Director of Outreach and Scholarly Communication at bepress (Berkeley Electronic Press). Since my school days, I have continued to write academic papers as well as jumped into the world of arts reviews. My particular academic interests are in ancient Greek philosophy and existentialism, in particular the works of Nietzsche, Heidegger, and Camus, and the relationship between philosophy and literature. My work at bepress has involved research into copyright and permissions issues, open access and authors' rights, and best practices in marketing, outreach, and collection development for institutional repositories.
