Program Description
Panel discussion on Friday
Video Description: My name is Caleb Holloway, and I am an assistant professor of mathematics at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. In this presentation I give a brief account of my adoption, creation, and implementation of open educational resources (OER) in a college trigonometry class. I then discuss the pedagogical considerations that went into my selection and creation of OER, the ways OER can impact educational access, and the work involved in creating and implementing OER. I also discuss some ways I used OER in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of the video is a list of references to all works cited.
