Join us in celebrating Northeast Ohio’s active community of book and paper innovators and our magnificent library and museum collections of fine and rare books during Octavofest 2019!

The overall theme of this year's celebration is Books and Paper: Loss, Preservation, Conservation. Our featured guest is Travis McDade, author of Torn from Their Bindings (2018) and several other books about the theft of rare materials from America's Libraries. Professor McDade is curator of Law rare books at the University of Illinois, Champaign and a CWRU law graduate. He will offer lectures and do book signings during the 10th and 11th of October.
