Description
A view of the Larchmere Boulevard Mural with attendees at the Mural's dedication ceremony on November 1, 2011. The Mural was designed and created by a local artist around the themes of reading, books, and community. Commissioned by Shaker Square Area Development Corporation (SHAD), in partnership with the Larchmere Merchants Association (LMA) and the Larchmere Community Association (LCA), the Mural is a permanent installation on the east wall of the Loganberry Books building at 13014 Larchmere Boulevard, Shaker Heights, Ohio. It was unveiled as part of the 2011 Octavofest, an annual month-long celebration of the book and paper arts. The event was hosted by Loganberry Books.
