River and Lake Pollution

Cleveland's history is intertwined with the lake and river. The Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie are what we owe our city's origin and development too. At times, this debt has been neglected, to no one's benefit. Luckily, in more recent years, progress has been made to reverse the negative impact of our industrial society on the lake and river. These images are a reminder of the responsibility we collectively share to be good stewards of the region's natural resources.
