Cleveland (Ohio) Press caption: "New York: 'Antony and Cleopatra', the opera that will open the 1966 season at the new Metropolitan Opera House in New York's Lincoln Center...[The opera] will open without the help of one of the mechanical marvels of the Met's new home. The stage's 57-foot turntable is out of order, so stage items will have to be pushed around by hand during scene changes." (United Press International, New York Bureau)
