Abstract
This document includes dated entries for court proceedings from August 17, 1954, when Sam was indicted for Murder in the 1st Degree, to January 07, 1955, when the Notice of Appeal of the 2nd Degree Murder charge was filed. It also includes Judge Blythin's Memorandum of Motion for New Trial, 1/3/55 which addresses the 41 reasons advanced by the Defendant for a new trial. These pages were copies made from microfilm printouts, so the quality is not great. Page 13 is missing. A better copy of Blythin's Memo can be found in 1954-1955 Post Trial Motions
