Title

What Statues Can Tells Us About Rome

Document Type

Film

Description

a) The prompt was to analyze Greek or Roman historical/cultural narratives and could take a wide variety of forms. b) I used "VSDC Free Video Editor" for the visuals and "Audacity" for audio. c) From the prompt, I had a lot of creative control over what my project would look like. I chose to analyze Roman sculpture in order to explain how the Roman Empire itself was structured. In order to get more real-world footage of statues, I chose to look at the states that are located in the Cleveland Art Museum. I chose a video format in order to make my project more enjoyable for the general public and posted it on YouTube so that people could watch it.
