Biography
Michael Wiitala is a Lecturer in Philosophy at Cleveland State University. He works on ancient and medieval philosophy, with a focus on metaphysics in Plato and the Neo-Platonic tradition. His scholarly work has appeared in edited volumes such as A Companion to Ancient Philosophy, Deification in the Latin Patristic Tradition, and Platonic Pathways: Selected Papers from the Fourteenth Annual Conference of the International Society for Neoplatonic Studies, and in a number of journals, including Apeiron, Epoché, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, and Proceedings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association.
