Abstract

This interview was conducted during Homecoming Weekend on campus as part 50th Anniversary Oral History Project. McCune attended CSU from 1985-89 and majored in education. Following graduation teaching jobs were at a premium and she moved to Pennsylvania to teach, depite having received a scholarship stipulating that she had to teach in Northeast Ohio for two years. McCune lived on campus during her time at CSU provides a unique perspective as a residential student at a predominantly commuter school. Of particular interest is her description of her dorm room and her social life outside of school.
