Interviews in this series were conducted by the Shaker Historical Society to give voice to diverse perspectives in the Shaker Heights community and help to fill gaps in the written historical record about the city since the 1930s. The initial phase, funded in 2021 by a grant from Ohio Humanities, focuses on the Village Garden Club, an organization that dates to 1930.
