Abstract
Given the decision striking down Ohio's replevin statute, the time to review Ohio's scheme of repossession in secured transactions could not be better. This article will outline some factors which may affect legislative action in this area and also will challenge some of the shibboleths that have dominated for at least a century the law of secured party repossession.
