Description
DEANDRA STONE is a 2014 Cum Laude alumna of Cleveland State University having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Dance. While studying her Dance minor, she performed with CSU's Modern Dance Company for four years. Before studying and performing with CSU's Department of Theatre and Dance, she studied various types of dance while also attending several dance competitions with Lakeshore Dance and Gymnastics. Her fondest dance memory is being awarded a week-long scholarship to attend a Dance Educators of America workshop (DEA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. DeAndra has previously spread her love of dance into the community by introducing dance movement to toddlers and preschoolers at Coventry Children’s Center and is currently an assistant dance instructor for her church's praise dance ministry. When not dancing, DeAndra enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Although she is no longer a member of CSU’s Modern Dance Company, DeAndra has no intentions on letting her love for dance waver.
